Well guys.... do you think a mini-tsunami will be happening soon in KT?

Anything can happen lah bro!!! ... Msian voters today are not as easily duped as before .. It that sense I think we're much better off than the S'poreans .. At least we're able to choose who we want!

Btw, if you read the pro-Pakatan blogs lately (doesn't mean I am a supporter OK!) you'll realise that they are well organised.  They are setting the agenda in Kuala Terengganu with blog postings and online news coverage that are coordinated in terms of timing and theme. Trying to use the alternative media (read internet) again to create an upset?

They're now focused on the Chinese voters. Although, the Chinese make up only 11 per cent of the voters in the constituency, but Uncle Kitt (Lim Kit Siang-lah) hails them as the "kingmakers" who will decide who wins the Jan 17 by-election. Dunno-lah, that's what he says! Semua ada pendapat masing2.. & with intentions when giving pendapat..

Back to you Che!!! (eh! eh! cam news commenter pulak main passing2 utk bagi comment) ;D

Dr.M's comments .....

DR M says that Wan Farid is a bad choice for KT
By Lee Wei Lian
PUTRAJAYA, Jan 5 – Dr. Mahathir may have jeopardised Barisan Nasional's (BN) chances in the crucial Kuala Terengganu by-election when he said that the ruling coalition's candidate, Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh, is a bad choice and merely a proxy.

“The choice of the candidate is really very bad because people see him as a proxy to be used if Najib becomes prime minister,” the former prime minister said.

This condemnation of the BN candidate is seen as another swipe at Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

“The candidate was the prime minister's choice because he was working with the prime minister,” he added.

Wan Ahmad, the former deputy home minister and member of the senate, who resigned both posts last Friday, will contest against Wakaf Mempelam state assemblyman Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut of PAS.

Even without Dr Mahathir's remarks, Pakatan Rakyat (PR) was expected to use his close links with Abdullah to attack him in the campaign.

This latest bombshell by Dr Mahathir could lead to a repeat of the March 8 general elections where his attacks on the government and calls for a stronger opposition were credited with helping the opposition to their biggest electoral gains ever.

Dr Mahathir's attacks were widely perceived to be personal in nature, and a calculated strategy to force his successor from power.

The prime minister became a focus of Dr Mahathir's attacks when he was blamed for the reversal of several of Dr Mahathir's pet projects including the crooked bridge to Singapore and the decision by Proton to offload Italian motorcycle maker MV Agusta for one euro.

Dr Mahathir, who is Proton's advisor, had supported Proton's purchase of MV Agusta and was bitterly opposed to its sale.

In the Permatang Pauh by-election last August, Dr Mahathir had predicted that the BN candidate Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah would lose but with a reduced margin.

Mukhriz Mahathir, the coordinator for Aman Malaysia, has called on the Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat politicians and supporters in Kuala Terengganu for Saturday's by-eleciton to observe a 24-hour "ceasefire" on Thursday, January 15, as a sign of solidarity for Gaza ....

Don't think this will happen bcos I doubt the politicians and their supporters care enough but let's hope they'd take this up. We should all UNITE for Gaza.

And Pak Lah is out of the country for a tour of the Middle East ..  ;D

How convenient. And wonder what the papers will say? Most probably in silent denial.

The blind leading the blind .... If UMNO does not put their house in order and pull their act together, and start reading the minds of the rakyat ... they can kiss the next general elections goodbye.

Bangkitlah warga UMNO sekiranya masih sayangkan UMNO ... jgn jadi seperti Tuah, yg membuta tuli menaruhkan kesetiaannya sehingga sanggup membunuh Jebat, kawan akrabnya sendiri, yg sebenarnya telah bangun kerana ingin menentang kezaliman & menegakkan keadilan.

What others say...........

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah:
"Actually this was more than a referendum on the leadership. It was a test of the relevance of UMNO in its present form. If UMNO is no longer relevant to the Malays, the BN formula is dead".

YB Wee Choo Keong:
"A PAS win is a rejection of BN. It is also a rejection of Abdullah Badawi for Datuk Wan Ahmad Farid Salleh is Badawi’s man!"

Some interesting comments I found at other websites:

"Sebab Kekalahan di KT: Calun, Calun, dan Calun".

"The people of Terengganu have done the opposite of what Dato Najib wishes them to do. His pontificating about how to behave- humble, shake hands firmly, be folksy, wear a sarong, didn’t go down well. He has probably antagonised the Terengganu people, in sufficient number so as to cause them to go over the dark side."

Dr. M is not irrelevant. Pak Lah is irrelevant, he should have left a long time ago! UMNO, this is your wake up call..... the longer he stays, he bigger the damage!
