BUYING GOLF EQUIPMENTS: NEW vs USED vs CLONES vs CUSTOM FIT?
« on: March 25, 2012, 02:13:01 PM »
Golf is a hard enough game - and we sometimes make it even harder on yourself by buying the wrong components and/or equipment. So  what would be the better choice?

1) New
2) Used
3) Clones (bukan imitation, ciplak atau yg cap ayam OK) or
4) Custom Fit

New:

Biasalah ... Branded clubs mahal dan kengkadang baru pakai dua tiga kali dah rasa tak sesuai pulak, dah kena tukar carik yg lain.. Lagi satu yg kena berhati hati .. bila belik online kengkadang terkena ..dapat yg ciplak, cap ayam nyer..

Used:

Satu option yg bagus, terutama skali utk mid to high handicappers dan beginners .... sbb harga murah dpd yg baru, tapi kengkadang nak dapatkan yg condition yg bagus tu satu hal ... dan nak dapat yg di cari tu, satu hal lagi plak ...

Clone:

Clone set jgn salah faham ... Yg ni bkn counterfeit atau ciplak, dan set dan equipment camni skrg ni org kata tgh "hot" kat US sbb harga menarik, jauh lebih rendah dpd branded, tapi quality sama dan performance sama dgn branded clubs ...  Ni satu option yg menarik gak, cuma saya sendiri blom try, so tak taw!

Custom clubs:

Org kata ni yg terbaik .. Tapi akan jadi lebih mahal dpd beli baru. Trend skrg ni ... apa yg org buat ialah beli component "clones" (slalu nyer derang beli "head" jer) yg quality bagus .... pastu custom kan ...

Apa pendapat tuan2 semua?

Tima kacih!

ok. ini lah kali pertama saya ingin menceritakan pendapatan saya...
beli aje yang original...
sebab

1. rupa sama tapi material lain
2. rupa sama tapi teknologi x insert in dalam oem ka imitation ka ciplak ka.
3. rupa sama tapi feel lain

sinar fm prihatin...anda bagaimana...i follow....

There are some good clones out there, perhaps one in a million.
If youre planning to buy a full iron set, my advice is don't. My friend bought a set of mizuno MP59 from eBay. When it arrived, it looked authentic.
Tapi bila measure loft. Berterabur habis. Tak consistent langsung
Berat shaft pun hancur. 4-PW, berat shaft= berat-ringan
The chrome on the irons pun peels off easily.
Clone drivers you can get away with as long as the shaft is original. The shaft is the engine of the driver.

yeah, clone & oem & imitation ni dah berlambak2 sgt nowadays, susah nak caya, why there is demand sbb harga ori terlampau mahal sgt. rule of thumb which i read somewhere, kalau nak beli online, kalau full set tu mmg sah2 tak ori & even scarier >50% clubs sold in ebay tu fake...so moral of the story.....suh msia buat kilang club sendiri, proton dulu bole and call it "mallaway" :p
