Monterez Driving Range revised their rates upwards ....

RM5 - 50 balls
RM10 - 110 balls (or izzit 120? .. tak ingat)
RM15 - 170 balls

Voucher RM100 - 12 RM10 punya bakul bola

And .... carpet semu dah tuka baru ( ... pasal tu kot rega naik?  )

Amay, kalau tak mau bagi sakit belakang/sakit pinggang, petua dia macam ni: swing with a smooth, easy tempo every time. Do it one stroke at a time with good rhythm.

Attention members from Shah Alam/Bt Kemuning/Kota Kemuning areas, there is one new diving range (DR) near you. just opened july 18th. happened to see its banner by the road side this afternoon, so went to check the place out.

location: batu 8 jalan bukit kemuning. to go there, from the main road, follow the road that goes to tmn desa kemuning, then soon you will see a banner/directional sign that says "Batu Bata Golf". "Batu Bata" is "clay bricks". the DR sits next to a former clay brick factory. "Kiln' or "factory"? Anyway, 50 balls for RM5; 100 for RM10. Place is not great, really, but would be good enough to hit 'em balls.

Oh, being new, it has got new carpets. Plus, you are allowed to hit from the grass.

a nostalgic name for the owner, a nice, friendly chinese gentleman. he closed down the brick factory because he said "it's a sunset industry; can no longer make money; difficult to get workers; kepala sakit". he has long term plans to develop the whole land (25 acres) into a housing estate but for now, he uses a slice of it to build the DR. "Saja suka-suka".

  Setapak D Range is charging RM12 / 100 balls. They know people on this part of KL is desperado coz no option. I boikot them coz the price tak setimpal dengan green carpet yg dia orang provided, dah lunyai lunyai. So I normally run to KDE but could be phobia to some yg takut air ...

1. MFG: most ppl, I think, will be disppointed with this DR; nothing great really, cuma dia punya building etc are new. nobody is there to look at you. convenient for ppl who around there, it's along their way home from work. kalau sengaja nk pi situ, the effort is not really worth it.

2. ishak: dari jln bt kemuning, you masuk jalan yg nak ke "tmn desa kemuning" (disimpang tu ada wokshop kereta Mini "Francis Motor"). you will see a bunting "Batu Bata Golf" on the left, just after the first kolam pancing. lokasi dia ke dalam sikit, about 200 meters inside (kalau Usain Bolt, he can make it within less than 20 seconds).

ATTABOY, kde is oso my port. hang yang mana satu haaa.. kat ctu ramai korean, melayu kureng. so, we could have been hitting balls next to each other without knowing. kalau berkenalan leh jugak bagi tips satu sama lain (tak sama ngan tips yang bagi kat kedi).

btw kde DR charges RM10 (100) and RM5.50 (50) for member, non-member RM13 kot. Masa amik bola ngaku sajelah member, depa tak check atau minta kad.

carpet condition is about 7/10. bola floaters, pukul gerenti masuk air. kalau tak masuk air kira hook atau shank, ha ha, terbalik dari actual course conditions.
