THOMAS PIETERS JUMPED AT THE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN LIV GOLF

DP World Tour star, Thomas Pieters, has joined LIV Golf.

Pieters, ranked World No. 35, has won seven times since turning pro in  2013 and he currently occupies sixth place in the Race to Dubai standings.

The 31-year-old Belgian was the European team’s top performer at the 2016 Ryder Cup but says he’ll accept whatever repercussions his move to LIV Golf has on his European Ryder Cup hopes.

Pieters is now the fourth member of Bubba Watson's Range Goats GC along with Americans Talor Gooch and Harold Varner III. He will be bringing his power game to Bubba Watson's rebranded team. Pieters once drove the green on a 407-yard hole.
