Dear Bros & Sis Kakigolf member,
Kakigolf members has grown bigger now. Today our members nearly to reach 700 person.
Our G2G monthly tournament has started gaining reputation and number of participants are steadily incline.
Since the 1st G2G, momento that we kept may only a photograph or video or post tournament forum that would last before next G2G commence.
I would like to propose to have a 'Challenge Trophy' for our future G2G tournament. This would be more interesting for our auspicious event. Every month there will be a champion name engrave to the trophy.
Trophy of moderate size and quality would be around RM1000 (I found one from Selangor Pewter. Price is RM800. Size about 38cm = 1.25ft high)
Why not during this coming G2G we start to collect a minimum RM20 per participant and continues until we have enough to purchase it.
It would be very interesting for the champion to have their name engrave to it.

its a good suggestion. Maybe amongst us there is a philanthropist who can sponser the trophy...

As-salam abngzekhhhh, why not kita start and implement dulu kat Sg.Patani. some body,someone,somehow rather must start some where.

Dear kakigolfers.What a good idea.the Challenge Trophy will be the inspiration for all kakigolfers.Siapa tak nak jadi champion!!!Jadi kakigolfers ,yang baru like me dan rakan2 boleh lah practice lebih sikit...nasib baik bole jadi juara( atau 'buaya')...soal contribution,kita pakat-lah bubuh sikit 2 saorang.salam

Sorry lambat jawab!!! Baru je balik dari Rahman Putra .. 1st time main kat sana ... Skor punya lah teruk .... Kena biasa-biasakan diri main atas fairway cow-grass kot (proper name is bent grass I think) ... Musim ujan camni fairway cowgrass macam sawah ... Manjaaang duff jer . Pakai rescue duff, pakai 5 iron duff, pakai 7 iron duf, pakai Approach wedge pun duff gak.... Dah lah fairway panjang, byk kolam pulak tu ... Pergh!!!! Letih giler!!!
Anyway!!! Back to your suggestion ... Byk jugak consideration nak kena ambik kira kalau nak buat Challenge trophy ni .. Bukan tak pernah terlintas dlm kepala otak .. Mmg dah terpikiaq ....
.. Kalau nak buat Challenge Trophy ... Then kita tak lah boley limitkan to only 10 flights saja .. macam kita buat skrg ni ... Kena lebih 10 flight, then kita ada cost & manpower considerations lah pulak... It requires proper organizing and manpower. Skrg ni we limit to 10 flights, among others is becoz of this reasons ....
So to have a Challenge Trophy, kita kena lah buat cam a proper tournament. Next question is booking of golf course. Diaorg nak tutup golf course, kena minimum 20, and some clubs -25 flights and dapat ke tak dpt the minimum number of flights, kena bayau ......
So I was thinking, why not G2G remains as what it is now .... It is our monthly gathering of KakiGolfers for casual hepi-hepi golfing. An avenue for us to meet in person the people behind the various nick names in the forum so that we can get to know one another... Not so much of making it into a "competition" sort of event but rather a social gathering kinda affair. And we can continue with having our monthly G2G over various destinations...
And my other concern is that ... if we change our G2G into a tournament, takut attract "buayas" lah pulak or a kinder word to describe them would golf tournament specialist lah!!! ... Golfers who take part in our monthly G2G solely with intentin of winning but are not all active in the forum ... Then this defeats the spirit behind having our monthly G2G altogether. Actually if you guys noticed, most of the top winners in the last PRO-AM tournament were not regular forum kakis ... But it was still a success nonetheless because you guys who took part in the PRO-AM did enjoy yourself ...
So, as for the Challenge Trophy, we can make this as separate event altogether ....

i think that true...byk benda nk kena bt...for example collection of money laa...siapa nk pegang...siapa nk jdk bendahari for kakigolf....or we open for acc...but on whose name....i still new in this forum actually...x th la kl kakigolf ni ado acc kerr....ceo kerr...managing director kerr or etc....but that was a good idea laa...but we have to seat face 2 face talk about tis...plan more properr..more idea...more words...2 pndgn saya laa...maaf if saya salah ckp...

But having said this ... Its indeed a great idea abgzekhhhhh!!! It is an event that will happen in due time ... The only thing is whether to incorporate the Challenge Trophy into the G2G or make it into a separate event!!!

Let G2G remains a social kakigolf.com event. But can still include Challenge Trophy for our monthly G2G rite?

Hi fellow Kakigolf friends,
The idea of a challenge trophy is good but should not take away the limelight that we are the 'best' social golf network that is now in Malaysia. I thought I would have been considered an outsider when I first joined, but from my first game with you all ... it was like playing with family and I hope this will continue to be so.
Other similar golf social networks also have planned and held 'championship' trophy challenges but this has also given room for unwanted talk or give room for ill-feeling .... primarily because 'money' is involved.
Our G2G has always been full of fun and should ALWAYS remain so. We now have over 700 members and organizing a tournament would mean only 120 pax maximum ... this would mean we would have to pick and choose people to play .. or find a way to shortlist players ... now this is where I foresee the problem. We might have to then hold 3 challenge trophies for each region and the organizing of it will be a problem as most of you are working. G@G has always been voluntary and whoever can make it, attends ... not so with a tournament. A simple example was the recent Pro=Am and the difficulties MFG had to go through.
Lets always remain a social network and build our friendships to greater heights.

Boleh kah En Pengerusi KakiGolf serta badan pengurusan KakiGolf menjelaskan dengan lebih lanjut perbedaan jikalau pihak urussetia mengadakan Challenge Trophy atau tidak, seperti keadaan sekarang ?
Saya juga megharapkan pihak pengurusan KakiGolf dapat menyenaraikan keuntungan-keuntungan untuk ahli jikalau pihak pengurusan ingin mengadakan kad ahli (yang ada yang dibincangkan tempoh hari).
Diharap pihak lembaga pengarah serta pengurusan kanan serta kakitangan sokongan KakiGolf lebih peka dan dapat menyebarkan maklumat dengan lebih lanjut berkenaan kedua-dua perkara di atas. Sekian, terima kasih.

Pandangan saya ialah setiap kali pemenang diumumkan, beliau akan bangun mengambil trophy tersebut. Itulah 'peak point' dalam setiap G2G kita. Bayangkan jika tidak ada apa-apa hadiah atau token diatas pentas.
'Challenge Trophy' ini tidak semestinya yang mahal tetapi berupa barangan yang boleh dipamerkan saperti contohnya 'Labu Sayong' (dipersiapkan dengan sebaiknya) atau apa-apa jua dan boleh dibawa keG2G yang akan datang.
Barangan ini bukan mempunyai nilai yang tinggi yang boleh membuatkan menusia lupa diri untuk mendapatkannya tetapi jika diberi diatas pentas ia mempunyai nilai-nilai tersendiri kepada yang mendapatnya.

Sebenaqnya...seingat saya momento utk pemenang tu dah ada & kerja2 engraving pun dah disuarakan. Tangan yg pertama pegang ialah bro yel@kd aka khairil (temannya pak ahman) masa dia champ di Lembah Beringin (G2G yg ke berapa saya tak ingat tp b4 G2G d PD)
